Exotic Beaches Of The World

Simply put, beach is a place where the sea meets the land and unique flora and fauna thrives. The sea turtle swims for a long distance and crawls on the native beach to lay its eggs. The beach is a place of refuge for the sailors who get lost in the sea. It generates the sound of silence where many a people find peace. The beach is warm but the beach breeze is always cool. Beaches are generally filled with sun bathers, sun worshippers and those who love to watch and play with the waves. For some who love water sport like the scuba, sailboard and the surfboard, beach is nothing less than heaven.

The Baths – Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
The highlight of this beach is its exotic pools and grottos that are formed by huge boulders that are scattered across the white sandy beaches. It looks magical to see the hidden caves and secret pools lit by bright sunlight through the boulders.

This beach was voted as the “best beach” by the Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine.

Flamenco Beach – Culbera Island, Puerto Rico
This exotic beach is a nature lover’s delight. Tropical forests, beaches, nature and turtles. Most of this island is protected for wildlife and plants. This beach is visually stunning with a perfect horseshoe formed by green hills with land stretching into the ocean. With no man-made object in sight you will learn to appreciate the power of creation.

Flic en Flac – Mauritius
This is the best place to spend a nice and relaxing holiday. Flic en Flac is a small village which is very quiet and charming with the beautiful white sand beaches and a blue lagoon.

Copacabana – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
This beach is called as the party capital of the world. It is considered as a Manhattan with bikinis and is a centre of activity both day and night. The beach is lined with a bicycle path and public shower.


Playa Tamarindo – Costa Rica
This is an exotic beach and it looks like the jungle has come right up to the beach. The beach is filled with sea turtles that come back every year.


North Playa del Carmen – Mexico
This is a wide sandy stretch of beach with find white sand. This beach is calm and is good for water sports and diving. It also has a little reef for snorkelling.


Kata Beach – Phuket, Thailand
It is about 17 kilometres south of the town. It has a long and peaceful sandy beach. This beach is good for swimming, sailing, windsurfing, sunbathing and scuba diving.
